I live in the fantastic university city of Cambridge, creating lovely terrariums (bottle gardens), and pairing gorgeous houseplants with beautiful pots.

I have worked as a professional gardener for over 20 years, having my own gardening business for 12 of those years.  I love working outside and growing, planting and tending beautiful plants.

With Small and Green I wanted to bring plants inside people’s homes.  Houseplants and terrariums can provide calming green spaces for even the smallest dwelling.  Plants have been shown to improve people’s health and happiness, reducing stress and some even help to purify the air!  Caring for them can give you a sense of wellbeing and inner confidence and they don’t have to be expensive.  I stock a variety of sizes to suit everyone’s budget.

I try to use recycled plastic ‘inner’ pots where possible when I re-pot plants. The glass terrariums are made by Garden Trading and LSA International and are handmade from recycled glass.

Terrariums are the new mini garden and they are so easy to care for!  I make them in a range of sizes and with a variety of different plants. There is literally one for everyone.
