Care tips: The Monstera or Swiss cheese plant is a staple for the plant parent. Easy to look after and a strong grower. Let the compost dry out between watering and keep in bright light but not direct sunlight in the summer. They can tolerate lower light levels but won’t put on as much growth. Eventually you might need to support your plant with a moss pole. In their natural environment they can be found climbing up trees, using the tree as their support. Feed during the growing season from mid March to the end of September with a liquid feed, we sell Liquid Gold Leaf, reducing the amount of feed you give your plant through the winter by about half.
Clean the leaves regularly to clean them of dust with a damp cloth.
