Description

Peperomia prostrata or String of Turtles is a compact trailing plant with small circular leaves up to 1.5cm across. The leaves are dark green with lighter markings along the veins. From spring to summer it produces upright, slender, tail-like spikes of tiny brown flowers.

Care tips: String of Turtles are semi succulent which means they store water in their leaves. Water only when the compost is completely dry and feed during the growing season with a liquid plant fertiliser, we sell Liquid Gold Leaf which is suitable for all houseplants.  Keep in a bright spot out of direct sunlight in the summer.
