🪴Water all your plants well before you leave.
Move them to a more sheltered spot which will help them to use less water (the more light plants get the quicker they will use up their water supply).

🪴Other tips for keeping your more vulnerable plants watered in your absence are putting them all in the bath with a wet towel underneath all of the plastic pots.

This will keep them cool and help to keep the compost moist.

🌱Strelitsia. These plants have fleshy leaves and stems so can go very dry between watering.

🌿 Syngonium there are lots of different varieties of Syngoniums but our favourite at the moment is Syngonium ‘Neon Robusta’ because of its pretty pink leaves with a green underside. Easy to care for and can withstand a bit of drought!

🌱Pilea peperomioides the ever popular Chinese money plant. Our recommended beginner plant because of its easy going nature.

🌿Dracaenas are another easy care plant that are one we recommend for lower light areas in your home as they are tolerant of a range of different light conditions.

Happy holidays from the Small & Green Team!
