Description
The maidenhair fern is native to South America and its name comes from its dark leaf stalks that resemble human hair. This fern needs moisture! They also can tolerate some direct sun during the day but be careful of leaf scorch or try to situate them in quite a bright spot in your home. Planting a few in a very moist soil can be a happy way to grow them.
The Maidenhair fern is toxic to cats.
