Care tips: ZZ plants are very easy to care for. They are succulents and therefore do not require a lot of water. ZZs are unusual compared to most succulents because they do not require as much light as a normal succulent would. We recommend them as a lower light tolerant plant. Water only when the compost is completely dry and water much less in the winter. Feed with a liquid fertiliser during the summer only. These plants like being root bound so don’t be too keen to repot, their roots often push against the sides of the pot making it distorted.
