Care tips: We love Tradescantia’Sweetness and this one is particularly pretty! It has pale pink stripes on the leaves and will love a very bright spot in your home preferably with some sunshine. Be careful of leaf scorch in the summer months as this can cause browning leaves. Let the compost dry out between watering and then give it a good soak making sure all the water drains away before replacing it in its decorative pot. Feed during the summer months with a liquid plant food.
These plants are very easy to propagate just cut the stem above a leaf, removing the top part of the stem, making sure you have at least 8 leaves on the top piece. Pop it in a glass of water and wait for the roots to grow. When they are at least an inch long you can pot them up into a free draining peat free compost mix. Do a few at a time for a full looking plant.
